Head-hunters predict heads deficiency all over the world.
During the current year the situation in the world concerning the search of top managers has considerably worsened and it will result in global deficiency of the managerial personnel in the near decade. The researchers of International Association of Advisers (AESC) came to such conclusion, having interrogated 141 HR-directors of the largest companies in the USA, Western and Eastern Europe and Asia.
Almost a half (49%) of respondents have confessed that during a year their company has changed from 1 to 4 top managers; 52% of respondents said that next year their company would have to search top managers.
About 60% of respondents said that now it is more difficult to find new experts of the top level than two years ago. Companies make the most pessimistic forecasts concerning experts in finance and sociology (39% of respondents tell about it), in IT, PR and retailers (36%), and at manufacture (29%).
HR-directors of companies expect that deficiency of heads will only increase in the world within the next few years. Thus, 70% of respondents in the USA, 30% — in China, 23% — in Great Britain, 19% — in India and 3,6% — in Russia are sure of it.
“We are at early stages of deficiency which will be only getting worse within the next 10-15 years”, — Peter Felix, AESC president thinks. In his opinion, it is connected with demography to a considerable degree: “After the retirement of those born in the demographical boom period companies should become more flexible and creative searching for executives (in the USA only generation of 44 million comes to take place of the generation of 77 million)”.
