The Academic board

The Academic board of Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) is created for co-ordination of educational and scientific activity of the institute. The creation of the board is carried out according to the order of the Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) Rector (#1201-08, January 1, 2008).

The Academic board of the Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) is a collective body which consists of talented scientists, politicians and public figures irrespective of their citizenship, nationality, race or sex.

The Academic board only determines the strategy of the Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) development, examines the scientific research works for their practical utility, works out and introduces standards and programs of the international distance learning. Besides, this body decides on awarding individuals the academic degree of the doctor of philosophy (PhD), on grant-aided students who receive an opportunity to study free-of-charge and orphan children who get an opportunity of free-of-charge training at Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang).

The Academic board of the Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) is the representative of the interests of a multinational educational community.

It creates scientific theories, approaches and organizational models of the educational activity in accordance with the international standards.

It represents and protects the academic and professional interests of world educational institutions, namely, fighting monopoly in education, creating open universities and educational centres, publishing and research activity, etc.

The sessions of the academic board of the Institute of oil and gas (UK-Ang) are traditionally held once in three months and by the corresponding chairman. The chairman forms the agenda on each point which is to be discussed and decided on collectively.
